St Margaret’s Primary School and Cowie Nursery Open

  Local residents in Cowie recently attended a Community Open Day to see the new, custom-built, St Margaret’s Primary School and Cowie Nursery after hub East Central Scotland handed over the building in August. St Margaret’s Primary School was identified as a priority for investment by Stirling Council’s Education Committee in 2010. Project planning started in 2013, which involved consultation with the local community, who were asked for their view on three alternative locations in Cowie. PERTH THEATRE PROJECTS TRANSFORMS CITY SKYLINE

The Perth skyline has taken on a dramatically different look for the next few months with the addition of a 27-metre-high crane! Brought on site at Perth Theatre by contractors Robertson Group as part of the historic venue’s on-going restoration and redevelopment, the huge crane will be used to build the frame of the three storey extension adjacent to the B-listed Edwardian auditorium. LEVENMOUTH ACADEMY IS READY FOR NEW SCHOOL TERM

Levenmouth Academy will open its doors to pupils for the first time after it was recently handed over to Fife Council. Pupils from the former Buckhaven High School and Kirkland High School will begin a new era as they come together at the new £44m school, delivered by hub East Central Scotland.
