Project Description
The picturesque Dutch Village is a series of ornate buildings located on island in one of Craigtoun Country Park’s lakes. Built by Fife Architect Paul W Whitehouse in 1920, the village is well loved by locals but has been closed for two decades to the public and has fallen into disrepair. To preserve the building, the external render will be removed and replaced with a new waterproof render, with renovation works to the roof and windows. It is hoped that this will be first phase of works which would eventually see the Dutch Village reopened to the public.
